Underwriters support KCHU while getting their message across to listeners. If you would like information about how your business can become a KCHU underwriter, please call us at 835-4665 or e-mail email@example.com. KCHU would like to thank the businesses who help make our programs possible. We hope that you, too, will say “thank you” when you visit these local businesses.
You may download our Underwriting Policy in PDF format.
Your business or organization can underwrite on KCHU, identifying you to the many listeners of KCHU from Prince William Sound to the Copper River Basin. With three repeater stations and four translators, your message will be distributed throughout a 40,000+ square mile area.
Your underwriting also provides financial support to KCHU, allowing us to provide a high quality schedule for both local and national programming. By associating your message with our programming, our listeners will know that you are committed to the support of community radio, and you will establish a positive awareness of your company’s social involvement.
Your business receives recognition and identification through an “underwriting announcement” aired on a medium uncluttered by commercials. This announcement is an acknowledgment of a donation made to KCHU by a business or organization.
FCC policy requires that underwriting announcement exist to identify, but not promote a sponsor’s business or organization. Please see KCHU’s Underwriting Guidelines for further details and clarification.
