Special guest on Coffee Break Wednesday, September 3rd is Wendy Goldstein, Director of the Maxine and Jesse Whitney Museum at the Prince William Sound Community College. Mrs. Goldstein will be sharing information about the 5th Annual Community Science Night. The event will be held Friday, September 12th at 6:00 to 8:30 pm in the Prince William Sound Community College Atrium. This event is funded by a grant from United Way of Valdez. It provides science exploration and activities for kids of all ages and their familier and draws on participation from many educational organizationa and experts. Each year the event focuses on a specific topic. This year’s topic is geology.

Coffee Break, Friday, August 22nd at 9am will be a live call in show. Special guest is Frederick Lane. Mr. Lane is a nationally-recognized expert on privacy and the impact of emerging technologies on society. He is an author, attorney, educational consultant, expert witness, and lecturer who has spoken to colleges, universities, and school districts around the country (including Alaska) on a variety of issues, including student safety, electronic misbehavior, and digital privacy. Mr. Lane will be presenting in Cordova the evening of August 25th.
